2006 RMA
REUNION
The Banquet
The
banquet on Saturday night allowed RMA cadets, friends and family another
opportunity for fun and revisiting their roots in the Rough Rider community.
Good food, good drink and good friends were the order of the evening. The
program part of the banquet was intentionally kept light and consisted primarily
of recognizing the individuals who had planned the reunion, drawing for doorprizes and presenting prizes for
various contests. The Master of Ceremonies was Mike Vagi '60.
SueAnn Millikan was named the Reunion Queen
by acclamation.
Mr. Jim Runyon, a member of the Board of the
Mercer County Historical Society was presented an award by Gary Weaver '69, on
behalf of the RMA Rough Rider Association, for the work he did to establish the
RMA exhibit at the Essley-Noble Museum. Without Mr. Runyon's effort, the
exhibit would never have come to be.

"I Got There First" - Royce Bosselman '48
and Don French '48 (Tie), who both came to RMA during the 43-44 school
year

Farthest Traveled by Car - Dave Maxwell
'59 of Shelton, WA

Farthest Traveled by Air - Joe Raimond
'57 of Pine Valley, CA

"I Brought the Most" - Ralph Antolino
'47, who brought 4 people with him to the reunion
The RMA flag centerpieces were awarded to the
oldest cadet at each table.
Richard A. Alsip '48 won $10 by guessing
closest to the number of pennies in a jar.
Jim and Ruthanne Burt '61 won the drawing for 2
free reunion nights at the hotel.
