Summary for Officers Tele-Meeting
October 27, 2007

This summary is intended to give all RMA alumni, faculty, family and friends a brief overview of Association activities, programs and decisions of common interest.

Members of the Association are provided with the complete Conference Call Minutes.

If our application for tax deductible status, after submission next week, is approved then donations to the Association will be tax deductible – however, membership dues will not be tax deductible.

A life-time membership program has been approved by the Officers.  If you are age 68 as of January 1st. of the calendar year in which you want to pay for a life-time membership it will cost you only $100.  If you want to pay for a life-time membership before the age of 68 it will cost you only $250. We encourage you to take advantage of this program as it puts money into the Treasury for Association activities and programs.

Certificates of membership in the Association will be sent out to all members who paid their dues for the calendar year of 2007, as part of the membership recognition program.

The Reunion Committee is working hard to find a location in the Chicago area that is not too expensive as the cost of coming to the reunions gets more expensive each year.  We will keep everyone posted as to their progress but the reunion will be in the Chicago area in 2008!!!

The Rough Rider newsletter has been well received and it was agreed that it would again be mailed to all alumni listed in the Roster when Issue III is mailed out early next year.
